A Word from Father Manny S...
It’s Holy Week again. This is a special time of the year when we all, as individuals, as a nation, and as a family of nations to bend our knees and beg for-giveness for our sins and failures against our good Lord and to one another.
We celebrate with all Christians all over the world, the great mystery of Christ’s love for all of us: “Greater love no man has than He who lays than His life for His friends.” (Jn 15:13) He took on Himself our sins and the sins of the whole world. Let us reflect on the Pas-chal Mystery of our Lord Jesus- His Passion, Death and Resurrection, which is the very end of our five week long Lenten journey.
Let us make this week holy, remarkable and mean-ingful as our response to the unfailing love of God to-wards us sinners.
Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, which we commemorate today, must inspire us to face positively our present trials and difficulties that come along our way. It is only by allowing God to accompany and lead us on our journey that we can truly be victorious against our struggles and challenges in this passing world.
Have a blessed week!
